Poetry in Motion features three gracefully animated poems by the Jamaican spoken-word poet, performance artist, and LGBT rights political activist Staceyann Chin. The time-based nature of story and song, and the symbolic nature of type and representation, combine in the digital space. Text becomes material, and poem becomes sculpture. With meanings left open, the viewer experiences the story differently with each telling.
