The multidisciplinary coalition of researchers, technologists and activists that formed around the film, continues its work on algoritmic justice. Researcher Fieke Jansen analysed date and published a report. With cooperation of Pilp, Mamamess, Control Alt Delete, Bits of Freedom, and Fair Trials.

The debut of my Backlight episode ‘Matchmakers in migratie’ renamed “Moving Humanity Forward” on Vice USA today. The film was made in a grim political climate of the Trump era. Depicting Hamdi Ulukaya, a Kurdish businessman who made working with refugees a part of his business model.

My recorded conversation with Patrisse Cullors for VPRO backlight in the film BlackLivesMatter. The English language version is trending on Amazon, with more than a million views.
